A Valentine’s Story of Finding Your Pack
Valentine’s Day is usually about chocolates and roses.
But for Raul Gutierrez, February 14th has another meaning—it’s his birthday.
This year, we’re sharing his story because it reminds us what love and belonging truly look like.

When Riding Changed Everything
About a year ago, Raul bought a PUCKIPUPPY Corgi eBike for his wife
and a Boxer ST eBike for himself.
They rode along the Texas coast, enjoying the sea breeze and the calm of local trails.
Riding made life feel lighter—but they knew they had more love to give.
After more than 30 years without a pet, they found Annie.

“She Reminded Me of Myself”
Annie was a Cavapoo—the runt of her litter. The smallest one. The one no one chose.
“When I saw her, she reminded me of myself,” Raul told us.
“I’m the smallest in my family and the black sheep.
So we named her Little Orphan Annie.”
In that moment, the Black Sheep and the Runt found their pack.

Riding Became Joy—and Healing
Annie wasn’t timid at all.
“As soon as she sees her helmet, she gets excited,” Raul says.
On beach rides, she isn’t the smallest anymore — she’s an adventurer.
With full suspension comfort, stable handling, and pet-friendly design, the eBikes became more than transportation. They became the vessel for shared joy.

Real Riders, Real Co-Creation
Raul is also a professional contractor. To ensure Annie’s safety, he welded custom aluminum supports to replace plastic parts on his rack.
He also shared expert feedback with us:
-
Adding securing loops and removable cushions for front baskets
-
Offering rust-resistant aluminum options for beach environments
His insights have already been shared with our R&D team. This is what real co-creation looks like.

The Road Ahead
In 2026, the trio plans to ride from Texas to Vermont to chase fall colors.
To thank Raul for his trust and feedback, we sent them a PUCKIPUPPY Trailer and Pet Shelter to keep Annie comfortable on the journey.
This Valentine’s Day
Made for Miles. Meant for Moments.
It’s about more than just the distance traveled—it's about the connections that make the ride worthwhile.
