The Boxer is rated for a range of 40 to 80 miles per charge with its removable 48V 20Ah battery. The upper end of that range is more achievable when using lower pedal-assist levels, maintaining moderate speeds, riding on relatively level ground, and keeping the tires properly inflated. Frequent throttle use, steep climbs, cold temperatures, loose terrain, headwinds, and heavier rider or cargo loads will increase energy consumption. For longer trips, riders should treat 80 miles as the maximum stated range rather than a guaranteed distance and plan to recharge before the battery is fully depleted.
The Boxer uses a 750W rated brushless motor with up to 960W of peak output. Throttle assistance reaches up to 20 mph, while pedal assistance can reach up to 28 mph. The 750W figure reflects the motor’s rated output, while 960W represents the additional peak power available during acceleration, climbing, or other higher-demand riding conditions.
The Boxer combines a 130mm adjustable front suspension fork with a 360-degree cage-style rear suspension system to manage impacts from uneven surfaces. The front fork helps absorb repeated vibration and front-wheel impacts, while the rear suspension supports frame stability when riding over dips, roots, gravel, and broken pavement. Its 26-inch fat tires provide a wider contact area on loose or irregular ground, and the 180mm hydraulic disc brakes deliver more controlled braking when descending or approaching changing terrain. Together, these components make the Boxer suitable for mixed-terrain recreational riding, although tire pressure and suspension settings should still be adjusted for the rider’s weight and intended surface.
