Real Stories · Freedom to Ride
Gary watched his mom change overnight.
For three years, Diane had stayed home. Then she got her Puckipuppy Husky, rode it around the parking lot with the biggest smile on her face, and posted about it on Facebook. 709 people stopped scrolling.
Gary saw all of it. And then he noticed something else.
The Night Before
The evening Gary brought the Husky home, he went to bed.
He didn't know what happened after that — but Robert told us.
"I had snuck out and rode it the night before. Hehe."
Diane's husband. Gary's dad. A man who watched his wife come back to life — and quietly, in the dark, went out to try the thing that made it happen.
He didn't ask for one. He didn't say anything.
But Gary had his answer.
What Gary Decided
"I can't wait to see both of their smiles in my mirror when we go out for a ride."
That's what Gary wants. Not just for his mom — for his dad too.
Robert has his eye on the Puckipuppy Rottweiler. Gary is working on making it happen.
"Puckipuppy has given me so much to look forward to," Robert said. "And during these times, that's a needed thing."
